Remady Bio

DJ Remady: the latest European breakthrough artist.

From his hometown of Zurich, Remady has established himself as a stalwart of the European dance scene and in 2010 enjoyed huge mainstream success with No Superstar – a track that will soon be dominating the dance floors and airwaves across the UK and US.

Taking a lead from his older brother, Remady starting DJ-ing in his early teens, developing his technique behind the decks and taking inspiration from various scenes such D&B and UK Garage before discovering House. Building on his first release as part of the Sweet & Sexy Crew, DJ Remady has subsequently established himself as a solo artist with a string of releases on labels such as Houseworks, Ultra, Ministry Of Sound and Maelstrom.

DJ Remady first released a number of singles on Houseworks such as Electrical Orgasm, Pulse X and the Electro EP series that received critical acclaim from a number of international tastemakers and began to cement his reputation as a leading producer. His first official solo single was No Superstar – a release that has recently taken Europe by storm. Initially released on Houseworks, No Superstar was licensed across Europe, featured on over 200 compilations and became a bona fide crossover smash. No Superstar hit #1 in Switzerland, Norway and Denmark – holding the top sales position for up to eight consecutive weeks – and also achieved top ten positions in territories including France and Germany. No Superstar has currently received 10,000,000 hits on YouTube and also received Gold status for its sales in Switzerland and Denmark.

Following the success of No Superstar, DJ Remady followed up with Give Me A Sign. Featuring the vocal talent of Manu L, Give Me A Sign gained widespread radio support and went on to be a second top ten hit in France. Remady has subsequently collaborated with Lumidee and also Craig David on Do It On My Own before working on his debut LP. The No Superstar LP is out now in the US and across Europe while it released in UK in early 2011. In addition to his acclaimed productions, Remady has also recently remixed a range of international stars such as Snoop Dogg, Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grande and Ian Carey.

In terms of his character, No Superstar is a very fitting title for his breakthrough single. Avoiding live interviews and TV appearances, Remady does not seek the limelight but loves to share his passion and talents with his faithful followers on the dance floor. His recent tour schedule has seen him travel across Europe performing alongside the likes of David Guetta, Tiesto, Black Eyed Peas, Yolanda Be Cool and Bob Sinclar.

With the continued success of his productions, new material on the horizon and a full schedule of tour dates, it is shaping up to be a successful year for Remady. With two further singles ready to drop from the No Superstar LP and a second artist LP in the pipeline, Remady is undoubtedly an artist that will be coming to a radio and a dance floor near you very soon!
