Taras is one of the finest DJs to have emerged from the beautiful city of Rotterdam.

Continually seeking new ways and works to innovate his sound, Taras is certainly not afraid to try anything different. And this did not go unnoticed by the house and techno scene.

After several years spinning on the underground scene back in 2007, Taras finally turned his hand to producing. The outcome saw warm melodies, effective bass lines, and crazy breaks – all accomplished from taking things seriously in the studio and pulling his artist talent together. The resulting productions are so different they are almost non-generic specific – pulling crossover sounds in different directions.

Production-wise, Taras has released a series of EPs on Manual, Stolen Moments, Exceptional and Mood Music. The release of tracks such as Skylime on Wolfskuil (a co-production with Jelle Kuipers) and 1998 (on Rebirth/EC) served as a springboard for remixes and nomination as track of the year by Pete Tong. The tracks hit #1 on the Juno Download and Resident Advisor charts for many weeks.

Recently Taras has developed and increased his international reach, playing at the biggest clubs, festivals and cities in Europe including Awakenings, Dancevalley, Paradiso, Club 11, Doornroosje, Raum, The Egg, and Cafe d’Anver. His sets are truly eclectic and heavily praised throughout the continent – the long queues of fans outside the Rotterdam’s club Catwalk on a weekly basis are evidence to his international acclaim and success.

2011 saw his most recent releases including the singles The Game, Hear This featuring Estroe and Don’t Stop Us featuring Boris Ross released on EC Records, Nightbird Music and Monique Musique respectively.

Nurturing his sound as time progresses, Taras’ style is fresh and appealing, stating clearly that he has firmly stapled his name within the music scene.
