Miss Palmer

Miss Palmer Bio

Since making an entrance onto the music scene when her first single, Falling Anthem, reached #4 on the Billboard club charts, Miss Palmer has received increased success for collaborations with the likes of Steve Aoki, Afrojack & Laurent Wolf.

Although she’s been singing all of her life and wrote her first song at 15, Alyssa Palmer made a remarkable entrance onto the music scene when her first single Falling Anthem reached #4 on the Billboard club charts and was included in the compilation That’s What I Call Club Hits!

It was the experience of cutting a five song demo while still in high school that showed Palmer the power of music – how it helps people connect and share a journey. She went on to study audio production in college and collaborated with musicians Evan Marc (Bluetech) and Rain (Phutureprimitive) to begin the creation of her unique sound.

In 2008 Palmer developed a relationship with Bad Boy Bill, who took note of her talent, and invited her to write tracks for his latest release entitled The Album. Four tracks were included on The Album including Falling Anthem which was nominated for a Grammy for the best new dance single and Do What You Like which was licensed for two prime time TV shows: Castles and Trauma as well as a series of commercials for Panasonic.

Though life has changed significantly for Palmer since the world started dancing to her music, what hasn’t changed is her commitment to finding truth and staying real in all that she does. In addition to writing songs and recording vocals, Palmer’s musical evolution has taken her behind the turntables. Not only does she showcase her DJ-ing talents throughout her own sets, she’s been known to make surprise appearances at some of the hottest House Dance Clubs across the country.

Palmer is excited to have collaborated with Steve Aoki and Afrojack on No Beef released on Wall Recordings in 2011, Tony Arzadon and Laurent Wolf on a number of projects and she is looking forward to what lies ahead as she continues to grow as an artist.
